Redirect Loop when I turn on SSL for whole site

Hi I installed the JV Shoes quickstart and all works well except when I turn on SSL from joomla for the whole site or enable SSL through htaccess, the frontend experiences a redirect loop. Do you have any insights to the cause of this? Thanks

When using SSL on Joomla, you have to turn off plugin Hikashop no SSL outside checkout plugin of Hikashop. Let's view this image: " http://prntscr.com/5saoy5"
