JV-Flatsize install "The extension install adapter does not exist."

SO I got this error after uploading the install file. Nevertheless the template showed as an option, so I selected it. The front end went completely blank. "OK" I think to myself "that ewrror must have actually meant something and I need to troubleshoot this, in the meantime I can switch back to the included template"

Nope, now ALL my templates don't work. It's like the tempalte has crashed the site. HELP!
