Problems with the blog categories

I am having problems with the blog-new.html page. This blog overview page is giving me errors. such as

• Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in include() (line 9 of /src/cn.cincojotas/sites/all/modules/custom/mod_block_news/block/block-news-style-3.tpl.php)

It looks like there are 5 hard coded categories in the system.

Is there any way I can make a simple blog overview page without these 5 categories I must have a flexible system which can have an undecided number of categories. The display of the categories doesnt need to be different. One style for all of the categories should be enough.
