Menu module hover effect

Hello,
I'm trying to assign a menu on the left side and the active menu-entry should be colored. I have tried with css but it's not working.

Can someone help me?

Certainly, you still haven''t Css element in the right way which you want to Style. You need to check Css for class and id more carefully.
You should Css in file templates/jv-wolverine/css/custom.css

A created class in the file custom.css didn't work.

I have created a class in the file template.css which work on hover but not on the active link.
